The provided pie charts illustrate the proportions of three categories of nutrients namely sodium, saturated fat and sugar consumed in different meals on the daily basis in the USA Overall, the highest amount of sodium and saturated fat absorbed dramatically in dinner, similarly that of added sugar was contained in snacks. Hence, breakfast can be considered as the healthiest meal According to the chart, breakfast and snacks consumed equally sodium accounted for a small minority around 14%. As for saturated fat, the gap between two meals started to change, 21% for snacks and 16% for breakfast. In term of added sugar, this gap increased enormously, the figure for sugar found in snacks was the highest in the research approximately a half. This data was nearly triple as much as the percentage of added sugar contained in the breakfast For dinner and lunch, they seemed to be the most unhealthy meals, 43% of sodium absorbed in dinner leaving the figure for the others behind, however, the gap between dinner and lunch was not large, around nearly 15%. With the data of hydrogenated fat, dinner still accounted for the most, followed by lunch 37% and 26% respectively. Turning to added sugar, although dinner did not absorbed mostly nevertheless it came second with approximately a quarter, similarly the figure for lunch decreased slightly around 20%.
