The map displays the current town center Islip with details and a newer view of the plans to develop it. Overall, the center of the town consists of shops on both the sides of the main road falling from west to east. The infrastructure is developed with introducing new buildings and other amenities. Firstly, the road is modified into a dual carriageway covering the entire area and the shops to the North are demolished to a greater extent in order to build a bus station and car park on either sides of the shopping center. In addition, a new housing is to be built on the North east side. The main road is transformed to pedestrian zone. On the other hand, South does not have a lot of changes as the shops remain unchanged. The park is reduced in size and the school is to be extended abit, along, with more buildings to be added.
