The two pie charts provide information about the expenditure on ads by different kinds of media in India between the years 2012 and 2017. Overall, the trend observed was that television media spent the most over the given time period while radio, digital and outdoor media collectively comprise the least expenditure. Television media comprised of exactly 43% of the total expenditure followed by print media at 38% in the year 2012. By 2017, there was a slight increase of 2% in the money spent by television media. In contrast, Print media experienced a significant decrease by 8%. Digital media made up a short percentage of 6% in 2012 which increased significantly to 15% while radio media which spent 7% in 2012 declined to 4% in 2017. However, outdoor media maintained a constant expenditure throughout the given time period. The expenditure remained at exactly 5% from the start year 2012 to the end year 2017.
