The pie charts illustrate how popular 5 five different types of social network are. It is clear that the proportion of users who used Facebook witnessed a moderate decline over the period. By contrast, there was an slightly increasing ascending trend in the figures for the other platforms social communication. In 2011, there was 59% of people who chose Facebook, compared to those of Twitter, and Linkedln which were 21% and 10% respectively. Besides, the figure for Google+ was similar to that for Pinterest, at 5% each. One year later, Facebook still dominated the number of users market share of social platforms, at 49%. However, this figure decreased slightly by 10% in comparison to since 2011. In addition, other's social media channels underwent insignificant increases, with a 2% increase for Twitter and LinkedIn, 5% increase for Google+ and 4% increase for Pinterest Twitter and Linkedln with 2%, Google+ with 5%, Pinterest with 4%. The year 2013 saw a quick drop in the proportion of Facebook users to 38%, while the jump of others social network were not considerable, just from 2 to 4%.
