The line graph indicates the number of library book at Starmouth school read by booys and girls from 2009 to 2012. In general, the lines show an upward trend for both gender from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, both lines equally hit the exact number of 100. However, after that, there was a gradual fall on boys' number of reading books. The blue line graph, wich shows girl, increased rapidly from just over 20 to 40 from 2009 to 2010 and then jumped to 80 over the next year. Comsequently, it kept rising significantly to 140 from 2011 to the present. At the same time in 2009, the number of books read by boys grew from around 50 to 80 in the following year. Moreover, there is a slight growth to 100 in 2011. But in 2011, as both lines met at 100, the number of books dropped only for boys to 80 in 2012.
