The two maps represent some alterations that have been made to the development of Tilden Airport over the 30 year period starting in 1985. Overall, the main structure of the airport is the same but there have been significant changes in the northern sections and also expanding public transports and hotels have been done in the southern parts of it. Probably the most noticeable modification has been to replace factories with the hotel and conference centre in the southeast corner of the airport. Next to the hotel, the airport support services have been moved. This place used to be support services but now is located with a bus and light rail station. The park and the domestic terminal have remained in the southwestern and western sections, while the international terminal has been expanded to have more space. Another dramatic change can be seen in the north; however, there has been built a runway two and just next to it, a business park has been constructed and the housing estate has been built just east of it. In place of all of the three places used to be Johnson's farm in 1985.
