The map explaining how Tarnagul, a small town near Melbourne, developed in the years 1900, 1950 and 2000. In general, with significant changes in Tarnagul such as local museums, craft markets and tourist shops built in 2000, the area of the town and the area used for fruit growing has varied over a period of time. On the west side of the river, dairy cows were replaced by a large area used for growing lemons and pomelos in 1950. After 50 years, it was replaced by a wildlife sanctuary. Furthermore, the tracks were built in 1950 and they were removed after 50 years of service.
