Overall, it is clear to see that there was a significant increase in the sales of games software and DVD/video, while the revenue of CDs went down slightly.
In 2000, CDs sale was the highest figure, at 35 billion dollars, compared to 18 billion dollars and 13 billion dollars for DVD/video and games software. In the next 2 years, the global sales of games software and DVD or video went up significantly, to 18 billion for games software and 28 billion for DVD and video. Otherwise, the sales of CDs around the world decreased slightly to 33 billion dollars but it still was the highest among three types of products.
In 2003, the CDs sales continued going down to 32 billion dollars followed by the sales of DVD and video which rose by approximately 12 billion to 30 billion dollars. Meanwhile, there was a modest increase to 19 billion dollars in the purchases of games software.
2. Task 2
Đề: Many young people leave school with negative attitudes towards learning. Why? What can be done to encourage a positive attitude to learning in young people.
It is true that many young people drop out of school with bad attitudes towards learning. However, I truly believe that this happens because of several reasons and there are many solutions can be made to decrease the rate of leaving school.
The main reason for children’s leaving school is their parent are too busy to care about their studying. With parents being busy with career, children may feel lonely and find that their learning is not important anymore. Another reason is school’s boring and theoretical curriculum. A recent study shows that subjects like History or Civics are listed as the most boring subjects. These subjects contribute to make students lose their direction in learning and they may choose leave school.
Solutions to this problem are very various. Firstly, it is about parents. If parents pay more attention to their children's studying, children can realize that learning play a key role in their life. Parents can also spend a little time on helping children to solve their homework, this will not only make student feel more excited about studying but also help parent build a good relationship with their offspring. Furthermore, school need to add some outdoor activities or practical subjects such as soft skill classes so that student may not feel tensed at school. Besides, teachers should encourage them to go to school by organizing group-work activities or showing them the meaning of education.
To sum up, it is clear that there are several reasons explain why young people leave school but there are also many ways to solve this problem.

1. Task 1
The diagram shows the number of hours per week spent in upaid work between men and women.
Overall it is clear to see that these numbers are unequally when married women always spend more time on doing unpaid work eventhough they have children or not.
In households where there are no children, women have to work 30 hours per week in such activities as childcare or housework. Meanwhile, men only contribute unpaid jobs approximately 18 hours. When spouses have 1 to 2 children, the number of hours women work goes up to 52 hours per week. In contrast, men maintain the same number of hours of unpaid work like when they don’t have children.
When there are three or more children, men are reported to work fewer hours in the home with only 16 hours. Whereas, women's unpaid jobs hours continue to rise to 56 hours per week which are 3 times longer than men’s hours.
Some people prefer to help or support directly in the local community for people who need it; however, others prefer to give money to the national or private charities. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
It is a common belief that people should donate to the poor throughout national aid organizations. However, there is a more persuasive argument that donors should provide money and other help directly to the needy.
On the one hand, there are several reasons explain why many people choose personal charities to give money or other support. Firstly, these organizations will make people’s name who donate money more popular because they often use social medias such as Facebook, Instagram, newspaper or even TV to advertise their campaigns. As a result, donor’s name will be mentioned on TV or newspaper so that they can easily develop their own career. Secondly, members of these charities are trained to know how to operate a campaign or to appeal to everyone for donating than a person who may have never done this before.
Nevertheless, I support the idea that people should donate straight to the needy because not every charitable organizations is believeable. Many charities raise their reputation through out some benevolent activities at first. When they make people believe in them, these organizations take advantage of donor's kindness to pocket their money. Therefore, their donations can not reach to people who need it and even it can make these illegal charities richer. As a consequence, many people raise personal funds to help the poor instead of giving money to national aid organizations.
To sum up, while it is apparent that people, now, are donating money through out some charities, it is undeniable that donors should give cash or stuff individually to the needy.
