The maps illustrates the growth of a specific location from 1995 to the resent. Overall, it is clear that more housings have been built as well as a replacing the ferry with a road bridge which link to the city. In 1995, there were only a few houses to the northeast of the river. Nowadays, this area has been expanded with more house and apartments along the river side with a small car park in the center. On the same side of the river, across the bridge road, there were also a few new houses have been added. Converting the winding road and ferry, the road bridge now cross the river. To the west of the place, trees have been cut down to make way for a larger car park. Further developments are planned for 2018, providing a footbridge on the south of the river and another car park next to a yatch marina, both to be constructed on the right of the foot bridge’s leading to Ashford.
