The maps illustrate how the city centre has developed over the 25 year - period. As an overall, there have been significant changes in the infrastructure, building and facilities. İn 1995, the city centre had a forest park and a farmland in the east of city. There were some houses along the main road which run through the city from north to south. İn addition, a shop, a fish market, a hotel and a cafe were located in the south of the city. Currently, only the cafe and a hotel remain from the original site. One of the most significant development is about the sport fields. Tennis and Golf have overtaken the land previously occupied by the farmland and the forest park. Also, government has demolished the shops and developed a restaurant. The main road has been extended to the west and few houses have been constructed along the road. İn the south of the city, there are neither fish markets, nor a fishing port left. A final change is that the apartments have been set up opposite the restaurant over there
