The maps illustrate the transformation of a village called Warwick from an agriculture-dependent village into a tourist destination since 1995. Overall, it can be seen that more houses and a range of tourism facilities including hotels, holiday homes, restaurants, and sports grounds have been erected to replace green spaces, fishing areas, and farmland. In terms of the southern part of the village, in order to host tourist activities, the dock of fishing boats and the local fish market have been replaced by new apartment blocks. In addition, a marina for luxury yachts has been built in the southeast of the village. While sports facilities have been demolished and made way for the construction of restaurants, the coffee house has been relocated to the east. Regarding the northern part of the village, the landscape has been urbanized with more houses constructed. To serve more travellers, accommodation facilities like hotels have been renovated and many holiday homes have been built on the area where a public park used to be. Additionally, while the open space near the public park has been transformed into a huge parking area, the farmland located in the northeast of the village has been converted into new a golf course and a tennis court.
