In the maps below, the evolution of the village of Stokeford between the 1930s and 2010, are being shown. Overall, it can be seen that the farmland of the village has been urbanized through the years. Besides, two places that provide key services have not been replaced or renewed, in addition, the large house located in the east was expanded and converted into a retirement home. Firstly, in 1930 most of the village was a settlement, with a huge area covered with farmland and just a few houses. Over time, more specifically in 2010 those farming areas were replaced by a residential area, because of that there can be seen a housing development in the village. Secondly, during 1930 the amenities of the town, like the shops and the post office were located at the north west area and the primary school at the opposite side of the road. But in 2010 just the shops were removed, the post office and the school remain at the same place. In addition, there has been another change, the large house was expanded so that it could become and retirement home for the senior citizens.
