The maps illustrate a significant change in landscape and the development taking place in the town, called Kensington, in 1980 and 2010. From the general overview is that Kensington had turned from a residential community into a growing industrial town. In 1980, there were very few facilities and structures. The landscape was mostly undeveloped with the number of trees and wide spaces in the town. The eastern side of the area had some residential areas with accommodation, such as houses and apartments.
