The diagrams illustrate the transformation of a book establishment in the year 2000 and at present. As can be seen from the picture, the place has witnessed considerable changes, especially on the left-hand side from the entrance.
To the left side starting from the entryway, there was a large fiction section in 2000 but currently it has been converted to a 4-category-contained section which are art, hobbies, cookery and fiction, respectively. In addition, the fiction area nearby also changed into a place for non-fiction books. Moving onto the middle of the shop, many tables followed by benches have been set up for customers to read books before buying. Instead of three former ailes of shelves relating to art, hobbies, and cookery that have been moved to the upper section. One more different thing is that the old non-fiction section in the far right of the entrance in 2000 has been transformed to a brand new cafe. Meanwhile, the travel books zone accompanied by the new books and a service desk in front of the entrance, remained intact.
