The two maps illustrate the ways in which the seaside resort of Templeton developed over a thirteen-year period, from 2000 to 2013. In the north-west of Templeton, the two houses around the lake were removed to make way for the construction of three blocks of flats. On the other side of the river, two new houses were added just north of the hospital in 2013. Between the bridges, which divide the north and the south part of the resort, four houses were built west of the river. On the opposite side, however, the house, situared just south of the school in 2000, was knocked down. In the south-west of the seaside resort, the seven houses located there in 2000 were demolished and on their place a supermarket was constructed. In addition, the existing block of flats was expanded with two new buildings next to it. In the area to the west of the river, that once used to be almost empty, a factory was established in 2013 after the removement of the trees and the two houses there. Also the railway was extended alongside the sea, running from the east to the west part of Templeton. Overall, it is noticable that the seaside resort of Templeton was transformed into more urbanised town with the construction of the supermarket and the factory as well as the enlargement of the railway. Another strikinf feature is that the number of houses were slightly lowered, but flats became more predominant in the resort 2013 than in 2000.
