The given maps illustrate the developments in the site of Felixstone in the years 1967 and 2001. There have been several changes, the most significant being the increases in accommodation, the abilition of the marina and pier and fish market. In 1967, to the north of the Felixstone area was a golf course, two shops and a high street in the middle of shops. To the northeast was a farmland. There was a fish market in the eastern part. To the southeast was the pier followed by the marina. There was also a sea in the south of the area and trees and dunes in the west. There was a hotel and cafe between the fish market and dunes. There was a main road between the shop and the cafe. Turning to the present day map, there used to be 2 shops and now one of them has been converted into the apartments. A swimming pool has been built instead of farmland. It has a hotel and tennis courts. The fish market has been completely shut down and a private beach has been built in its place.
