The illustrated maps below shows the changes in a village located near the River Stoke since 1986. From the given layout it is clear that large houses were replaced with retirement home and primary school was expanded. The first obvious development in a city is that gardens and trees in front of the large house to the east of the area were cleared to make space for constructing more houses. Primary school was extended by adding 2 more buildings and farmland in the north-east of the village was flattened and replaced with brand new houses. Moreover in this area the main road were expanded to west and east to connect new residential constructions. Shops to the west of the area were knocked-down and replaced with new houses. Furthemore, farmland in the south-west of the village was replaced with residential buildings. Post office on the right handside of the shops and the bridge to the north of the shown area remained unchanged until now.
