The maps represents the changes which took place in the seaside resort of Templeton from 1990 to 2005. Overall, a comparison of two maps reveals a change from woodland and houses to tall buildings and a harbor. In 1990, the town was a much greener residential area with a great number of trees ana individual dwellings, but during the next 15 years the town experienced an amount of changes. The most noticable is that all of the trees east of the river, were cut down, with majority houses being knocked down. Moreover, a new factory, ferry and airport sprang up around school and hospital. Only a few trees west of the river remained. The housing that located in west had replaced with tall buildings and a large supermarket in the south of the lake. In addition, new railway roads, that connect between west and east of operation had also newly built.
