The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The above maps illustrate how Islip town will look after the implementation of development plans. The whole place would not look the same after the planned changes. Firstly, if we start with Park on the eastern side of the map now has been reduced significantly with that half of the shops are also removed in the developed map. The housing area is the next place where major changes have occurred and pathways are also modified. The new map shows various new additions to the place. Like in place southern shops at countryside new bus station, shopping centre, car park and new housing in introduced and it is connected to old shops through the Pedestrians path. A large Dual carriageway is also added to the development plan which circles the whole area leaving school at its original place with some infrastructure added.
