This map displays the different situations of Islip which is the centre of small town. First map shows now and the second one exhibits plans to develop it. In the first map, we can clearly say that centre has basic designed. There are lots of shops around the main road. In the North side, it is generally countryside and the North side is using for accomodations. There are only one school and park. The park is kind of big one and it is in the east of centre. School is little bit far away from main road. There is not any road between houses. In the second map, they think to make centre better. There is a circle with dual carriageway which there is not at the moment. This ring is for instead of main road. There will be stilll shops, but additionally, there will be a shopping centre. People can find park for their car next to shopping centre. Pedestrians can walk etween shops and mall. However, this way is only for footpath, not allowed to cars. There will be a bus station in the West side which people need it. New housing is to be added in the South and North side as well. Except of all adds, the park will be smaller in the same area. To sum up, plans for Islip is for making it more usefull with lots of adds and new builts. New developments help to Islip to be more commercial and residential.
