The map below illustrates the changes of an art gallery in Australia in 1950 and now. It is clear that the structure of the gallery experienced a slightly replacement with various facilities were added and modified.
In 1950, from the entrance, a sculpture was placed in the middle of the gallery and opposite to a large courtyard. On the left hand there were three different rooms included café, temporary exhibition and bookshop. And on the right hand the structure was the same and we had early European, middle European and Asian Art.
In the present day, the sculpture is still remained. But, the courtyard was reconstructed and divided into children art school, Australian Aboriginal Art and Australian Art. In the right site of the gallery all the construction except for the Australian Art are kept. Furthermore, in the left hand, the same thing happened compared to the right hand. However, the Café is now reconstructed and was split up a toilet and a café.
