The map illustrates the Meadowside village and Fenton, developing town over a period of 3 different years. Explain NMgMj
The map describes the Meadowside village and Fenton, developing town over 3 different years. The first map shows the early position of village in 1962. Then, in 1985 another stage of development and the present position. Overall, there was no infrastructure on land in 1962, the whole site was blank. Only a small railway track was there. Whereas, in today’s time the area is fully developed with various facilities. To begin, in 1962 the land was empty and a short distance train track was passing via north-east side of Fenton. A small path connected the Meadowside rural area with the north and south-west of site which was further developed into 2 line-road. Moreover, the road also connected to east side. Additionally, super-store and housing facility was added to the area, in 1985. A leisure complex was built over there and the area of Meadowside countryside was increased. In the recent times, Meadowside village is totally changed as compared to initial stage. It swamps into the Suburbs. The hotel facility was added to the Suburbs and a business park constructed to the south of the roadside which connect Meadowside and Fenton. In addition, a new railway track is lay down from east to centre of site where a station was erected. Now, Suburbs and Fenton was extended and became a single town.
