From overall analysis, it is manifested that the consumption of sugar exhibited overall increasing trend throughout the given period, whereas, the production of sugar did not show more variations over one decade. Having a fleeting glance, it is immensely clear that the utilisation of sugar stood at nearly 2 million in 1982 as against the number of consuming sugar was touched 2 million in 1986. Moreover, the consumption of sugar inclined sharply from 2million in 1990 to above 3 million in 1994. Furthermore, increasing from 4 million in 1998 to 5 million in 2002, the usage of sugar reached at 6 million in 2006 which was it is zenith point.
