The line graph provides information about the changes in the number of library books which students at Starmouth School namely boys and girls read between 2009 and 2012. After starting at around 40 books of schoolboys in 2009, this figure showed a dramatic decrease to 80 over the three-year period, when it rose steadily to 100 books in 2011. In terms of schoolgirls, there was a significant growth in the number of library books by around 80 from 2009 to 2011; futhermore, this figure continued going up and reached a peak at 140 in 2012. In general, the amount of girls experienced a upward trend while those from boys were on the fluctuation.
