The line graph gives information about the rate of families moving to different types of dwellings from 2000 to 2012 and the bar chart compares households living in various types of buildings in Finland.
It is clear from the first graph that the percentage of families moving to studio areas witnessed a significant increase over the period shown, while two other remaining habitats had considerable drops. Turning to the bar chart, detached houses were popular among villagers along with terraced houses that were used mostly in urban areas.
To commence with describing the line graph, in 2000, railroad areas constituted the highest percentage of dwellers, at 1, 5% and this was dramatically outstanding such areas as duplex and studio 1, 1% and 1, 3% respectively. Surprisingly, the category of studio rocketed by the end of the period, at just under 2%. Meanwhile, two quite similar downward trends were recorded in the areas of duplex and railroad, at 0, 1% for the former and 0, 5% for the latter.
With regards to the bar graph, rural area dwellers preferred to live more in detached houses whereas in cities people would rather choose terraced houses. Neither apartment blocks nor other types of accommodations showed noticeable figures worth mentioning.
