the graph below demonstratrd the mobile and fixed line phones' users in africa over an period of ten years. in summary, its obvious that using mobile had a dramatic rose while fixed phones usage remained relatively stable. in 1994, mobile had less than 1 and fixed phones had about 2%. between 1995 to1999 both had negligible amount of rose. after 1999 mobile usage had a dramatic uprising and it overtook in 2001. after 2001 cellphones usage continue its uprising and finally it has reached its peak in 2004 with 8. 8, by contrast fixed lines usage relatively stayed the same.
