The line graph bellow, illustrates usage of different types of meat, such as beef, lamb, fish and chicken in the European country during the period of 1979-2004 years. overall, it can be clearly seen, that consumption of beef and lamb has considerably downward trend, whereas fish remains more stable with fewer fluctuations and chicken consumption has unconditionally upward trend, showing the rise of its popularity among people. From 1999-to 2004 both of the types of meat experienced rapid decline in consumption, however strict downward trend is not expected. In the period of 1979-1999 beef and lamb consumption shows gradual fluctuation, while beef popularity in these years dropped from almost 250 grams per week per person, to nearly 180 grams per person. Lamb popularity likewise in these years dropped considerably, hitting nearly 80 grams from 150 grams per person per week. Alternatively, weekly dose of chicken consumption in 1979 was 150 grams per person and it had frequent fluctuations but significant growth during the period of 1979-2003, reaching its peak of weakly dose up to 260 grams per person, while it still shows slight decline in usage. On the other hand however, fish remains more or less stable type of meat in the people's weekly ration. In 1979 it was up to 60 grams per week per person, it had very slight decline in consumption, compared to other meat products and consumed with little fluctuations nearly 40 grams per week per person during the period of 1097-2004, additionally in contrast with other meat types, shows very slight upward trend.
