The given line graph represents a comparison among four countries. unitedkingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal on the basis of average amount of carbon dioxide emission per person from 1976to 2007. the data has been calibrated in terms of metric terms. Overall, the carbon dioxide emission decreased in Sweden and the United Kingdom while that rose in Italy and Portugal over the time period. Now, turning towards the details of carbon dioxide emissions per person in the United Kingdom. it started from 11 metric tonnes in 1987. andit was highest amount among three countries. in the next decade, it declined slightly but in the next three decades, it decreased rapidly to nearly 8 metric tonnes. However, as for as Sweden carbon dioxide emissions were concerned. intitialy it was recorded at 8 metric tonnes, but increased fastly in next years. moreover, Italy was the third position in 1967 and it was noticed at 4 metric tonnes but after ten years, it increased slightly and it was near about 8 metric tonnes after which it gradually increased. the country of Portugal which followed an upward trend in all the whole years remained at the least position always. So, a significant variation has been recorded
