The line graph illustrates the quantity of overseas tourists coming to Australia, while the table describes the country where the tourists came from between 1975 and 2005. It is clear that there was an increase in the number of foreigners travelling to Australia and the total quantity of overseas tourists in 1975 was lower than the total one in 2005. As is seen from the line chart, the number of overseas visitors increased sharply as the year 1975 (9 million) witnessed a quick growth in the number of foreigners, then more dramatically in the next 30 years, reaching 30. 2 million. According to the table, the total number of foreigners in the country of origin had increased in 30 years (8. 8 - 30. 4 million). South Korea and Japan had a rapid change over 30 years, from 2. 9 to 9. 1 million and from 3. 2 to 12 million respectively. In contrast, China and the USA had the smallest increase in these countries, both increasing approximately 0. 6 million. Lastly, the number of foreigners from Britain and Europe had on average grown, both growing around 3 million.
