The line graph depicts the information of the sources of fuel use by the US starting from 1980 to nowadays with the future prediction until the year 2030. Overall, by having a more meticulous review it is evident that petrol and oil along with the coal are presumed to grow while other sources such as nuclear, natural gas, solar, and hydropower are thought to stay relatively the same for the energy they produce. The petrol started by contributing to 35 quadrillion units in 1980 and was erratic in numbers until 2005 by reaching 40 quadrillion units followed by a steady but meager increase over a 15 year period in 2020. After the year 2020 it is predicted to have more rapid rise by reaching roughly 20 quadrillion units. Coal used for making energy also had an analogous use until 2020 exceeding 25 quadrillion and having a sharper increase by going above 30 quadrillion. Natural gas on the hand is had a fluctuation over 30-year span being at 25 quadrillion and is expected to be at same numbers onwards. Hydropower, solar, and nuclear power all started at the amount have experiences a fluctuation until the year 2005 and 2010 respectively. However, nuclear and solar power sources are predicted to have a negligible rise by 2030 whereas the hydropower is said to stay the same.
