The line graph depicts the aggregate number of UK phone calls for three different categories (local, national and international, mobiles) between 1995 and 2002. Units are measured in billions. As an overall trend, in this 7 years period, two categories increased year by year except for the local one in the United Kingdom. As can be seen on the graph, in terms of mobiles, phone calls started under 10 billion minutes in 1995. After in 1999, this type went up gradually and peaked at around 45 billion at the end of the period. In addition to this, there was a steep increase in both national and international ones, it saw under 50 billion minutes in the middle of the timeline, in 1998. On the other hand, the other fixed line which is called local line reached 90 billion and saw the highest point in 1999. In the past three years, there was a gradual decrease and the number of minutes of telephone calls became nearly the same amount as the year 1995, it was almost 73 billion.
