Overall, over the period of sixty years, the percentage of working people in agriculture and industry decreased moderately, whereas that in services displayed an upward trend. It can be seen, in 1985, the rate of workers in industry stood at about 25%. After that, the figure increased slightly to about 35% in 1995, followed by a margin fall to 20% in 2015. The figure in agriculture sector also illustrated a similar trend. Beginning at about 35% in 1985, the proportion of employees then declined steadily to around 15% in 2010 and continued to fall slightly by 10% in the end of the period. On the contrary, a sharp rise was recorded in the percentage of workers in services. Specifically, in 1985, the quantity of staff stood at 40%, it then increased by 20% in 2010. Finally, the figure went up to 70% in 2015.
