The line graph illustrates the number of criminal activities such as armed robbery, assault and murder that happened in London from 2003 to 2012. Overall, it was seen that rates of armed robbery showed an upward trend while assault crime experienced a downward trend. However, murder activity remains relatively same throughout the given time period with some fluctuation. In regards to assault crime, its figure rose from around 2200 to approximately 2700, between 2003 and 2008. It was the lowest and same in the years 2006 and 2008, which was estimated at 2000. In London, the highest violent was a robbery in the given years. In 2003, under 3500 robberies were taking place which rose to above 3500 in the next year. Then its figure gradually dipped from over 3500 to nearly above 1000 in 2004 and 2008 respectively. But in a later year (2009), it increased to nearly 7500 and levelled off with some fluctuation till the end of the years. A murder case in London was found to be lease popular amongst the other two crimes. This act was less than 1000 in all years but mostly remained at and around 500.
