The line graph below shows the monthly ridership of four separate transportation forms in a European metropolitan area between 1980 and 2030. Q50jy
The line chart illustrates how many criticisms the complaints department of a particular airline received from January to June in 2009. Overall, it is clear that the number of direct and telephone complaints were on the rise whereas those received by email and fax witnessed a downward trajectory over the whole period. It is also noticeable that the figure for face-to-face feedback surrendered to those given via email, fax and phone calls originally before becoming the most common way to file complaints in the final month. The number of criticism received directly amounted to about 400 at the beginning of the period and this consistently moved up month on month to reach a peak of around 1900 negative feedback in June. Telephone complaints showed a similar trend to face to face feedback. However, there was a slight decline of 100 in the number of complaints by phone calls from January to February. The figure for telephone feedback witnessed a steady increase in the following 5 months despite the plateau of about 1010 between March and April. Regarding email complaints, this stood at about 780 in the first month of the period. The number of criticism received via mail saw a marginal drop of about 60 in the first two months before plummeting to around 390 in May. Email complaints had remained stable, hovering at around 390 by June.
