The line chart illustrates five popular transport to travel to work in New Stratford, including private, bus, train and motorbike from 1970 with predictions to 20130. Overall, the number of main methods tend to be higher in the future, with the exception for private. In 1970, the main transport in New Stratford was bus at well above 8 million users - much higher in comparison to 4 million of motorbike. But by 1990, it had lost its lead after having fallen for 20 years straight although it is expected to increase significantly, with 10 million in 2030. Motorbike, on the other hand, after having slightly dropped down again to 3, 8 million in 1990, the figure for them increased constantly to double in the future. Remarkably, the commuter transport which started with the lowest number was train, at just 2 million, but by 2020, it surpasses all the other methods, and is predicted to reach their peak at 12 million in 2030.
