The given line chart highlight the comparative study of the number of visitors who came to the UK for different purposes from 1989 to 2009. Overall, the majority of visitors came in 1994 for holiday and a minority figure of meeting friends and relatives in 1889. At the first glance, it can be seen from the line chart that 6. 5 million visitors came to the UK for holiday in 1989 and reached a peak in the following year. While the figure decreased drastically in 2004 and increased sharply at the end of the year. Whereas the number of visitors came to the UK for business in 1989, the figure of visitors was about 5 million and decreased slightly in mid-year which was approximately 4 million and was a dramatical increase between 1994 and 2009 which was about 6 Million and 8 million. It can be seen easily from the chart that the number of visitors was about 3 million in 1989 for meeting friends and relatives and increased constantly from 1994 to the end of the year which was about 7 million and was slow decrease figure in 2009 about 6 million.
