In summary, almost all sources of air pollulants demonstrated a significant decline except transport with little growth according to the graph by 2005 Looking at the graph in more detail, in 1990, the amount of air polluted by household registered about 1 million tons, in comparison with roughly 7; 5 and 1 millions of tons of the total air pollutants, industry and transport respectively. In the next 15 years, the figure for total air pollutants decresed considerablely to just under 4 million tons in 2005. Similarly, the figure for industry also undergo a remarkable decline to 2 million tons after reaching a peak at approximately 6 million tons in the year 1990. Likewise, between 1990 and 2005, the figure for household dropped progessively from about 1 to 0. 1 millions of tons. In contrast, the amount of polluted air produced by transport saw a gradual increase to the highest point at just over 1 million tons.
