The information about the proportion of the whole world population in India, China, the USA and Japan between 1950 and 2000, with future estimation till 2050 is depicted by the rendered vertical bar graph. The data has been calibrated in percentage. Overall, it can be clearly witnessed that China have the highest population among all the countries at the start of the period but in the end, it is estimated that India will take the lead by 2050. China, the United States and Japan were showing a downward trend whereas India is showing an opposite trend. A higher rate of population was observed by China, it accounted for 25% in 1950. Following by India which was having the second-highest population around 15%. The least amount of people was in the case of America and Japan and it constitutes for 10% and 5% respectively. In 2000, the Indian population was increased by 4% and it reached 18% whereas in China there was a slight decline in the rate of the population by 2%. Also, in the USA and Japan, there was a gradual decline in population, and it was around 7% and 4% respectively. It is predicted that the percentage in USA and Japan will remain the same in the USA, while in Japan the population will keep on falling till 2050. The most important prediction is that India will outnumber China in the percentage of population by 2050.
