The presented pie charts compare the highest level of women's education
in China in 1945 and 1995.
Generally, number of educated females approximately increased fivefold throughout the supplied period (from 15 per cent till 100 per cent).
In 1945, roughly one third of women did not obtain any schooling. Nonetheless, this figure plunged to zero till 1995. After taking a closer look at the first chart, it is obvious that there were no post graduate women. However, in 1995 every fifth woman had a post graduate education. The sharpest surge occurred to women with the bachelor’s degree. Comparing to the past, the number increased 50 times and now takes 50 per cent of the second pie chart. Nevertheless, there is one section that remained static over the period given: women with a secondary schooling. It makes up 10 per cent in both charts.
It is interesting to note that the quantity of uneducated women decreased to 0 in 1995, whereas uneducated women in 1945 made up the biggest part of the society.
