The line graph elucidates the admissions of overseas students and local pupils in Australian universities over a decade. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the popularity over a year has seen a growth in an upward trend. Commencing of students was seem to be increasing in foreign students as the time period increases, but after 2009 it had just a minimal change to 40000, and in local students, there was 18000 in the year 2001, which had a sharp elevation to 23000 in a year and then it had a decline over 4-years period and again it inclined in 2008 to 21000 and then, it fell down to around 20000 in 2010. The total of overseas student was 20000 in the year 2001 and local students were two-fold more than that. International students shown a more than three-fold increase by the year 2010, which is 81000 pupils, and locals had a sharp increase until the mid-2006 and then it remained stable till the end of the period.
