From the two graphs that are shown asexamples, we can make a number of observations. In the case of overseas students, we can see that there is a definite increasing trend in the total number of students enrolled in Australian Universities from 2001 and 2010. The lowest increment in the total number of students is observed for 2003 where the number the didn't increase much from 30000 as observed in 2002. Such a slight increase in also observed in the case of students commencing their studies in 2010, where the number remained around 20000. When we talk about the Local students that are enrolled in Universities, we observe that after the year 2007, the total number of students remained around 600000 till 2010. The number of commencing students however do not show a similar trend as the rest of the cases. We see that there has mostly been a decline in number of students commencing their studies after the year 2002 till year 2006. Post 2006 also there was no major increment in the number of students.
