The graphs depict how has changed in the first decade of 2000's the ammount and their geographical origin of student who attended to Australian universities. Overall, the number of local students who was attending at Australian universities are a major amount than overseas pupils. However the number of student from foreign countries were raising during the period and on the other side australian students who were commencing university were stable. Abroad students who were commencing their studies in Australia marked a huge increace from 2001 to 2009, but the data of inscription of 2010 is a little higher than the year before, reaching more than 40000 units. As a result of this new students, the total number of overseas student increased constantly during the period, having a peak in 2010 of more than 80000 students. Otherwise we could see that the number of new iscription of locals swing near 200000 units, consistently the number of total local students has encreased from 400000 in 2001 to 600000 in 2008, but in the three years later the number of total students became stable.
