the graph usage for TV between 2004 to 2014 QRVn3
This graph illustrates the choice of technology people made for watching television between 2004 to 2014. People used various techniques to watch television for a decade. Some technologies were used a lot while some went nearly extinct. Overall, it can be seen that people's preference to use the Internet over other technologies increased year after year while broadcast methods had a fall. We can also see that satellite technology was consistently used throughout the decade. Along with broadcast, cable networks also had a small decline in the number of users preferring this over other methods. The rise of the Internet can be described as phenomenal as it was approximately used by 5000 users during the beginning of the decade and was the most preferred method during the end with approximately 190, 000 users. On the contrary, the broadcast had the most drastic ratio amongst all the technologies used. It had dropped drastically from approximately 100, 000 users in 2004 to around 5000 users in 2014. Other technologies, like satellite and cable, were pretty much consistently used. By looking at the graph, we can say that the future of broadcast looks bleak, while we can expect the Internet to have a huge number of audiences soon.
