The bar chart illustrates the number of visitors who went to six different museums and art galleries around the world during 2011. Clearly, the most popular museum out of all six shown in this year was Louvre, located in France, which was visited by almost 9 million people. By contrast, State Hermitage in Russia had almost 3 times visitors less than Parissian Louvre. Apart from this, Museo del Prado in Spain and Korean National Museum saw slightly more people than Russian museum in 2011, 3 million and just over 3 million respectively. When it comes to Metropolitan Museum and British Museum, the number of their visitors was almost the same. By having approximately 6 million people who visited them, US and UK museum earned second and third place based on the number of visitors during 2011. In conclusion, out of approximately 30 million people who visited six abovementioned museums and galleries, roughly a third chose Louvre, while one in five visitors went to either British or Metropoliten Museum.
