The trend line for first marriage saw a consistency in numbers from 1951 to 1961, when it started to make its record high with 390, 000 marriages in 1971, however it falls dramatically till 2001 and continuing the period of stability again under 200, 000.
The dotted line representing remarriages showed a down curve from 1951 to 1971, although showing a partial growth in 1971 above 100, 00 and maintaining its trend till the end of 2005, at last the overall trend seems to go downwards.
