The pie chart presents information on the share of production of passenger cars around continents and geographical regions in 2015. Firstly, Greater China, hence a single country, accounts for more than ¼ of the total production of cars, which is a significant portion given that the other sectors of the pie include entire continents and economics regions. Overall China, Japan and South Korea with their joint 16% of production and the 8% coming from South Asia would result in 50% of world passenger car production, half the pie for the Asian continent. On the other hand, Europe establishes itself as the second major producer with 25% of world manufacturing, slightly below China. North America with the US, Canada and Mexico would account for 19%, the third largest slice of the pie chart.
