A glance at the graph provided reveals some striking information about the utilization of three kinds of spreads like Margarine, lower fat and butter from 1981 to 2007. It is evident that the graph shows considerable fluctuations with highs of butter during 1981 and lows of low fat spreads during 1996. Increasing sharply from approximately 141 grams of Butter to 159 grams from 1981 to 1986 and exponentially about 5 grams to 80 grams during 1996 to 2001, the Margarine dropped steadily 90 grams to 80 grams from 1981 to 1986. In 1991 and nearly 2000, the absorption of Butter was balanced at 100 grams with Margarine and in the vicinity of 62 grams with low fat spreads. During 1991 to 1996, The Margarine followed the period of stability with 100 grams. After reaching to low from 100 to 80 grams of Margarine, low-fat spreads brought same 80 grams of using spreads in 2001. From 2001, all of the three types of spreads dramatically dropped having different amount of spreads consumption, to 2007. It is interesting to note that numerous kinds of variations are seen in the depletion of following spreads over six years.
