It was observed that the agriculture, industrial, and domestic sector had shown increase in the usage of water after mid- century. The water used for domestic and industrial area were slightly above than 0 km3 till mid century which changed after 1950. After 1950, industrial sector showed rise in almost 1000 km3 in water consumption. The water used for agriculture was nearly 500km3 which reached to 3000 km3 approximately in 2000.
On the other hand, water consumption was seen highest in Brazil where per person had 359 m3 whereas, Congo people had only 8 m3 per person. Irrigated land was 26, 500 km3 in Brazil and only 100 km2 in Congo. The population was more than 20 times in Brazil when compared to Congo.
