The line graph illustrates the popularity of four different types of meat in a European State with respect to their weekly consumption over the time period of 25 years. Overall, the consumption of chicken was only subjected to increment in this time period. Whereas beef and lamb experienced a decline and fish consumption was relatively unchanged. According to the chart, individuals used to prefer beef in 1979 with average rate of consumption of around 220 grams per week, it remained famous among individuals till 1984, after which a continuous decline in its usage was observed. Its average consumption bottomed at 100 grams per week in X then slightly increased to around 120 grams per week in Y. The similar fast declining trend was also observed in the case of lamb, starting from 150 grams per week in 1979 and ending at approximately half of its initial value in 2004. Fish consumption was lowest in 1979 with slightly greater than 50 grams per week, it was subjected to steep decline through out the period. Thus, finally reached an approximate value of 48 grams usage in a week. Chicken was second most popular in the start of period with average weekly consumption of around 140 grams per week, but it experienced a faster increment and finally reached a value of around 250 grams in 2004.
