The graph gives information about the number of boys and girls reading books in the Starmounth School Library. It show the trend of book publications between 2009 and 2012. According to the graph, there were different trends of reading for boys and girls. From 2009 and 2010, there has been a slight rise in book number readers by the boys from 50 to 80. Numbers have increased to 100 since 2011. However, in 2012, their numbers fell back at 80 again. During the first year of the chart's information, the number of books which the girls read increased slowly. From 2009 to 2010, the number of book readers has risen by girls about 25 to 40. It has grown distinctly to 100 between 2010 and 2011, the same way as boys. After that, the number rised dramatically to 140 books in 2012. This was the highest figure in the graph. Overall, there is an upward trend in books read by girls. Although boys read less books in 2009 and 2010, their reading fell by 80 which is lower than the girls in 2012.
